2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, 1 cup natural yogurt, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract.
Mix together the eggs and the flour in a mixing bowl with a whisk. Add the rest of the ingredients including the melted butter and mix for a couple of minutes. The consistency of the cake mix should be that of a pancake batter or slightly thicker. Grease a cake form with a little butter and pour the mixture. Bake the vanilla cake in a preheated oven starting at 450 F for 10 minutes and then reducing the temperature to 400 F for another 10 minutes. Poke the cake with a chopstick and check the tip of the chopstick after that. If the stick comes out clean the vanilla cake is ready. Let the cake stand for about 10 minutes before cutting.
