Recipe:
1. Peel and cut the zucchini approximately to the size of thick french fries.
2. Season the zucchini sticks with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders.
3. In a mixing bowl beat lightly the eggs and cream.
4. Put the flour and breadcrumbs in two separate bowls.
5. Dredge the zucchini sticks in the flour, dip them in the egg mixture and coat them in the Italian breadcrumbs.
6. Deep-fry the zucchini sticks at 165 degrees C (350 F) until they are golden in colour.
7. Remove them from the fryer and place them over tissue paper for 1 minute to remove the excess oil.
8. Serve the fried zucchini sticks with your favourite dipping sauce.
Cooking tip: For this zucchini sticks recipe you can use either kind of zucchini, green or yellow, just make sure you buy zucchini that are not longer than 6 inches.
