1 package (20 oz.) refrigerated cookie dough;
1 package (8oz) cream cheese;
1 tablespoon vanilla extract;
1/3 cup sugar;
sliced fruits such as kiwi;
peaches, strawberries;
bananas and mandarin sections;
also blueberries and raspberries;
4 oz. water, or according to gelatin package instructions;
2 tablespoons orange gelatin powder.


1. Spread the cookie dough over a greased pizza pan.

2. Slice it with a knife or pizza cutter to 8 or 10 "pizza" slices, and cook it according to package instructions.

3. Cool down the cookie and refrigerate.

4. Fold together the softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract and whip them until the sugar is dissolved.

5. Sprinkle the gelatin ove tiny amount of water, and when the gelatin is all soaked, pour boiling water over it, according to package instructions.

6. Pour half of it in the cream cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly.

7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie and arrange the fruits on top.

8. With a pastry brush apply the rest of the jelly on top of the fruit pizza.

9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the gelatin to set on top of the dessert pizza, and serve.

Cooking tip: You can use a pre-baked pastry shell in lieu of cookie dough in this dessert pizza recipe.
