Ingredients for the dressing: 2 ripe avocados; 4 tablespoons natural yogurt; 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, or as needed; 2 cloves garlic; 1 even teaspoon salt; 1 pinch of dried basil; the juice of 1 lemon; 1 tbsp. walnuts; For the salad: freshly ground black pepper to taste; lettuce of your choice; fresh dill for decoration; lemon, if desired.
Recipe: Place all the ingredients in a food blender and blend them until smooth. If the dressing stops turning inside of the blender, because it is too thick, stop the blender and stir it with a spoon before starting it on again. Alternatively, you can add some more oil or yogurt to the dressing. I recommend using the dressing immediately. If you need to store the dressing for later use, pour it in an air-tight jar, close it with a lid and refrigerate. You can even make a healthy avocado Caesar salad dressing from this recipe. Simply change the mayonnaise in the Caesar dressing with the avocado and yogurt.
