Kufteta Na Skara Recipe - Grilled Meatballs

1 pound ground pork,
1 pound ground beef,
1 finely chopped onion,
2 slices of white bread,
1 large egg,
1 tsp. summer savory,
1 tsp. dried oregano,
1/2 tsp. ground cumin,
1/2 tsp ground black pepper,
1 Tbsp. salt,
1 heaping teaspoon sweet paprika,
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley.

Soak the two slices of bread with little water, then squeeze the extra moisture and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well with your hands until everything is nicely blended. Cover the ground meat mixture with plastic wrap and let it stay in your fridge for at least 30 minutes. Resting the ground meat mixture is required in order to improve the texture of the kufteta, and to blend the flavors. When you take the mixture out of the fridge, form three-ounce patties, using wet hands to prevent sticking. Preheat and grease your grill, and cook the meat patties thouroughly on both sides. Serve the kufteta with some cold side dishes, such as bean salad or potato salad. Tip: If you want to make the kufteta spicy, you can add a teaspoon of chili flakes to the mixture.
