Classic German Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:

2 pounds lean ground beef;
1 medium onion, minced;
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley;
2 eggs, lightly beaten;
1/2 tbsp. salt;
1 tsp. ground black pepper;
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg;
4 tbsp. breadcrumbs;
butter for frying;
1 large onion, sliced in rings.

Recipe:

1. Combine burger ingredients and mix well. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated for 45 minutes in order to blend flavors.

2. Wet your hands and shape the ground beef into 6 patties. Fry in melted butter, over medium heat, until desired doneness. Remove from frying pan and keep warm.

3. Fry onions in burger drippings until golden. Serve the burgers topped with the onion rings in warm buns.
