Ingredients:

2 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons onion powder
3 cans kidney beans, drained
2 tablespoons paprika
2 cups beef stock
3 cups tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Tabasco
1/2 quart warm water
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
white pepper and salt to taste.

Recipe: This is just a basic recipe for chili con carne. With a little imagination you can make your own original chili recipe; Brown the ground beef in a large, heavy skillet. Add onion powder, paprika, cayenne, bouillon, beef broth, tomato sauce, Tabasco, beans and water. Cook over low heat for about 45 minutes, adding more water as needed. Season to taste. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder and pepper, cook for 5 minutes more. Serve the chili with grated cheddar cheese on top. Tip: Vegetarian chili can be prepared by replacing the ground beef with meat substitute made of soy.
